Dover' is a not-for-profit organization, affiliated with The South Australian Canine Association Inc.( DogsSA ) S.A.'s member body of the Australian National Kennel Council; and hosts Obedience trials in May & October of each year.
About Dover Gardens Kennel & Obedience Club
The club was established in 1969, serving the local and wider canine community for over fifty years, the last twenty at the Mitchell Park Sports grounds where classes are held on Wednesday evenings & Sunday mornings.
The club appreciates the ongoing support of Marion City Council.
After temporary relocation of some classes during redevelopment of the grounds in 2021, our new clubrooms were opened in July 2022, offering updated facilities.
All our committee members and instructors are volunteers dedicated to responsible dog ownership, to educating owners towards a better understanding of dog needs & behaviour, and to taking that message to the larger community by teaching and example.
